On Sunday 5 and Monday 6 November, the G7 Ministers of Health met in Milan at the “Leonardo da Vinci” Museum of Science and Technology.
The event was attended by the Health Ministers and Heads of Delegation of Italy, Canada, France, Germany, Japan, United Kingdom and United States of America, as well the EU Health Commissioner and Directors of OMS, FAO, OIE, OSCE and EFSA.
One of the core topic was the impact of climate and environmental factors on health. On Sunday afternoon the plenary sessions addressed health and climate change, while on Monday morning the discussion focused on health of women and young people and on antimicrobial resistance.
