G7 Foreign Affairs documents
The G7 Ministerial Meeting on Foreign Affairs in Lucca (April 10-11) ended with the adoption of the traditional Joint Communiqué, as well as a "Declaration on Responsible States Behaviour in Cyberspace" and a "Statement on Non Proliferation and Disarmament".
The adoption of three comprehensive documents is a result of great political importance within a complex and shifting international scenario. The common values, principles and interests that mark the G7 have emerged once again and confirmed the main stances traditionally shared by its members.
Ministers focused particularly on the ongoing fight against terrorism, the situation in Syria and in Libya, relations with Russia, relations with North Korea, disarmament, non-proliferation and the situation in Ukraine, in intense and multifaceted discussions.
