On May 7-8-9 Rome will host the G7 Youth Summit
On May 7-8-9 Rome will host the G7 Youth Summit, the official engagement group dedicated to young people. The aim is to contribute to the G7 Agenda providing the young generations' points of view. Delegates between 18 and 27 years old from the G7 countries, selected by national associations from the G7 and G20 Youth Network, will attend the event. At the end of the meeting, the delegates will produce a document that will be delivered to the Italian G7 Presidency and then brought to the Taormina Summit on May 26-27.
The main issue of the G7 Youth Summit will be "Rethinking Innovation as a Catalyst of Inclusive, Open and Sustainable Growth", in line with one of the three pillars of the Italian G7 Presidency's Agenda.
The meeting will be coordinated by the Young Ambassadors Society. The other associations that will attend include the G8 & G20 Youth Summits Japan, Young European Leadership, Policy Innovation e.V., Open Diplomacy, Young Diplomats of Canada, Future Leaders Network, and Young Americans for Diplomatic Leadership.
