The media accreditation platform of the G7 Ministerial Meeting on Health is online

On November 5-6, the G7 Ministerial Meeting on Health will take place in Milan at the Leonardo da Vinci Science and Technology Museum.


Health Ministers of Italy, Canada, France, Germany, Japan, UK, Italy and the U.S., as well as the EU Commissioner for Health and the Directors of WHO, FAO, OIE, OECD and EFSA will attend the meeting. The discussion will focus on the impact of climate and environmental factors on health.


Journalists and photo/video operators must register through online accreditation system. The confirmation will then be communicated via email. The platform will remain accessible until 07.00 p.m. of November 2nd, 2017.


Access to G7 meeting will be limited to accredited media representatives with specific badges. The badge is personal and can be picked up at the Museum of Science and Technology at Via Olona 6, from 10 am to 7 pm on November 5th and from 8 am to 1 pm on November 6th.
The media center will be located in the Museum of Science and Technology (entrance from via Olona 6), in the Room Conte of Biancamano, and will be set up with workstations for journalists; the final press conference will be held on Monday 6 in the contiguous "Spazio Polene”.


Four side events, where Health Minister Beatrice Lorenzin is expected to attend, will take place in Milan during the days of the Ministerial meeting.
- On Saturday, November 4, at the Royal Palace, the Gates Foundation meeting on "Global Nutrition - starting at 9.30;
- Saturday, November 4, at the Palazzo Lombardia, the event of the Irccs Foundation - C. Besta Neurological Institute, "Innovation and Research for Healthy Aging”- starting at 9.00 a.m.;
- Sunday, November 5, at the National Museum of Science and Technology, Meeting of the Carabinieri Health Unit (Nas)"Strategic Contrast to Pharmaceutical Crime” - starting at 9.30 a.m.;
- Monday, November 6, at the National Museum of Science and Technology, the meeting of Farmindustria “New technologies for health care” - starting at 2.30 p.m.


Media accreditation for these four side events should be sent directly to the organizers of each event.
