As part of the G7 decision-making process, the so-called Working Groups provide in-depth technical analysis.

Composed of member States representatives, they address multiple topics in their respective areas of expertise, bringing key issues to the attention of Ministers and possibly to Heads of State and Government.

Each group is coordinated by a representative of the Ministry in charge of the specific subject.
