Ministerial Meetings

Since 1998, in view of the gradual broadening of the issues addressed by the G7, the practice of combining the traditional Summit with the organization of meetings at ministerial level has become widespread.

The G7 Presidency establishes the number of these meetings and the topics to be addressed.

During 2024 Italy hosted 23 Ministerial Meetings. The meetings took place in various Italian cities, as part of a logistical effort that included a leading role of the local institutions.
